Industry Pioneers

Paul, Keith (2025)

Mr. Paul redefined modern compression technology and pipeline-evacuation services in the energy industry. After earning a BBA from the University of Texas and serving in the U.S. Army, he transitioned from management consulting to small-business ownership, founding Reserve Equipment in 1975. Under his leadership, Reserve Equipment grew into a leading provider of portable compression and pipeline-evacuation solutions, services essential to maintaining pipeline integrity and safety across oil and gas operations.

Reserve Equipment developed the capability to evacuate and recompress natural gas across a wide range of pipeline sizes and pressures. This innovation helped reduce emissions, preserve economic value, and mitigate safety hazards associated with gas release.

Devoting more than 60 years of his career to the energy industry, Mr. Paul is remembered as a longtime innovator whose entrepreneurial vision helped build a service infrastructure that supports safe and efficient pipeline operations.
