The EEF Scholarship Program provides financial support to future energy professionals who may merit or need tuition and educational assistance. This program directly impacts our mission to advance the energy sector by supporting the next generation of innovators and leaders.

The 2027 – 2028 EEF Scholarship Award is open for applications on Saturday, August 15th, and closes on Tuesday, December 15th, 2026.

Before starting your application, please take a moment to review the information below:

• You’ll need approximately 30–45 minutes to complete the full application.
• The application must be completed in one sitting. You will not be able to save your progress and return later.
• We strongly recommend you prepare your materials in advance, including:
  o Unofficial transcript or recent report card (PDF or image)
  o Letter of recommendation (PDF)
  o Personal statement responses (career goals, challenges, interest in energy field)
  o Optional – Financial need documentation (FAFSA SAR or proof of income)

Once submitted, you will receive a confirmation message and your responses will be reviewed. Award decisions will be communicated by March 31, 2027.
