Investment/Broker Account Donations
Did you know that you can give directly from your IRA? After the age of 72, IRA owners must begin withdrawing a required minimum distribution from their retirement accounts annually.
While this RMD withdrawal is taxable, if allocated as a charitable donation to a nonprofit like Energy Education Foundation, the retirement owner may earn a tax break. If interested in donating directly from your IRA or other investment/broker accounts, please contact Kristen Barley.
